PHILOSOPHY
GOALS/OBJECTIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT
Admission into the undergraduate degree programme of the Computer Science Department is as follows:
UTME Candidates are admitted into a four-year degree programme. Admission requirements include; credit level passes in SSCE/GCE O/L/NECO, which must include Physics, Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry and any other science subject in not move than two sittings. In addition, all candidates must have acceptable pass in UME.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The curriculum aims at producing Scientific and Technical manpower of various levels, which will be useful in industries, Government, Educational Institutions and in Research Laboratories. The curriculum is designed to provide opportunity for specialization in both Pure and Applied aspects of Physics.
STUDENTS WELFARE
a. The students are encouraged to approach the Head of Development with all their grievances inducing all their academic grievances. The Head of Development is duty bound to listen and solve the problems to the best of his ability.
b. There are four academic advisers in the Development. Each academic adviser is assigned to advice students in different academic sessions.
EXAMINATION
a. Examination questions are set by the course lecturers and submitted the Head of Development then assigns for the questions to be moderated by senior academic within the Head of Development for non degree examination. The degree exams are moderated by our external examiners. At least two lecturers are assigned to invigilated course with at least one attendant. Quite often than note, the results are really and issued to student one month after the examination
