STUDENTS FEE PAYMENT GUIDE/PROCEDURE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS

 

  • All new students who paid their acceptance fee manually through Bank Tellers, should take the bank tellers to their respective faculties and obtain receipt of payment of acceptance fees.
    A photocopy of the receipt and your JAMB admission letter with your active phone number written on it, should be submitted to the MIS unit. This will enable the MIS unit generate a Student Payment Code and RRR code and the codes will be sent to your phone numbers to enable you print your admission letter and pay your school fees.
    Make sure you generate your school fees invoice online on the CrutechPay Portal before going to pay your fees at any bank that accepts Remita Payment. Get the print out from the Bank and insert the RRR code on the verify payment link on the CrutechPay Portal to verify your fee payment status and print a receipt.
    Those who need hostel space allocation, can move to the Student Affairs unit with their school fees receipt to secure a space in the hostel.


    PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT

    Fresh Students are to pay a non refundable acceptance fee of N10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only before payment of school fees.
    They should pay at any branch of the designated Banks in the schedule.
    You are welcome to Cross River University of Technology. Fresh student are implored to call at the PRO Unit/Students Affairs Office and Management Information System (MIS) Office for anything they do not understand.


    Steps for Payment of Acceptance Fee and Printing of Acceptance Letter/Admission Letter through CrutechPay Portal


    1.     Logon to https://www.crutech.edu.ng. Click CRUTECHPay (Top left-hand corner of the screen) You should see the screen below, Picture: 1.

    2.     Click on GET YOUR STUDENT PAYMENT CODE.

    3.     Enter your JAMB REG NO, in the textbox shown in Picture: 2 and click on PROCEED, also in Picture: 2 below.

    4.     Enter your PHONE NUMBER in the textbox shown in Picture: 3, below, and click on PROCEED.  You should receive a text message containing your student payment code (spc). 
    Note that your phone number must be with you and valid. Keep this number safe because you will need it for other payments on the portal. See Picture: 4, below.
    If your Student Payment Code (SPC) has been generated already, click on home, scroll to the buttom and insert your name or phone number and hit enter to view your Student Payment Code (SPC).

    Click on PROCEED TO PAY FEES

    6.     Enter your unique payment code (e.g. SPC07011211948 shown in Picture: 4 above) and click on PROCEED.

    7.     In the following screen shown below, select your entry level then click on Proceed.



    Click on: PROCEED

    8.     In the screen that follows (Picture: 7) below, Select a Payment Method and then click on PROCEED TO PAY. Note that a bank charge of NGN300.00 applies.

    After clicking on PROCEED TO PAY the screen below (Picture: 8), a payment invoice comes up. Please take note of your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

    9.     If you choose BANK BRANCH - VISIT ANY BANK TO PAY.

    Print the Payment Invoice shown in Picture: 8, above, and take it to any bank of your choice to make payment.

    10.      Once you make payment at the bank, return to the portal and logon to: https://pay.crutech.edu.ng

    11.   Click on PRINT AND VERIFY INVOICE/RECEIPT.

    12.   Enter your RRR code in the textbox in Picture: 10, below, then click on PROCEED. Your receipt will be immediately displayed. Please print it and keep it safe. See Picture: 11, below.

  • Steps for Payment of Fee through CrutechPay Portal for returning students.

    1.     Logon to https://www.crutech.edu.ng. Click CRUTECHPay (Top left-hand corner of the screen) You should see the screen below.

    2.     Click on 
    GET YOUR STUDENT PAYMENT CODE. Insert your matric number; e.g 10/MAC/010.

    3. Enter your PHONE NUMBER and STATE OF ORIGIN in the textbox  and click on PROCEED.  You should receive a text message containing your Student Payment Code (SPC). 
    Note that your phone number must be with you and valid. Keep this number safe because you will need it for other payments on the portal.
    If your Student Payment Code (SPC) has been generated already, click on home, scroll to the buttom and insert your name or phone number and hit enter to view your Student Payment Code (SPC).

    4. Click on PROCEED TO PAY FEES. Click on Pay Old Fees if you are owing in the past semesters, or click on Pay fees. But make sure you clear your old fees first, before you move onto the fees for the present semester.

    5.     Enter your unique payment code (e.g. SPC07011211948 above) and click on PROCEED.

    6.     In the following screen, select your entry level then click on Proceed.                    

    7.     In the screen that follows, Select a Payment Method and then click on PROCEED TO PAY. Note that a bank charge of NGN300.00 applies.
    After clicking on PROCEED TO PAY the screen below, a payment invoice comes up. Please take note of your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.

    8. If you choose BANK BRANCH - VISIT ANY BANK TO PAY.  Print the Payment Invoice.

    (Make sure you print your fee payment invoice and take it to any bank of your choice that operates a Remita Platform ( Ecobank, Zenith Bank, HB, GTBank...) to make payment.)

    9.      Once your payment at the bank is complete, ask for a Remita Printout for your payment, then return to the portal and logon tohttps://pay.crutech.edu.ng

    10.   Click on PRINT AND VERIFY INVOICE/RECEIPT. Insert your RRR number and verify your payment. Make sure that the payment is approved. If not approved, contact MIS to make a complaint.
